Custom Chamfer End Mill

The chamfering end mill is a specialized tool used for creating chamfers on the edges of workpieces. By removing sharp edges to form beveled or rounded corners, it improves the assembly, safety, and surface quality of the workpiece. ZLY can design chamfering tools with a variety of angles to meet your specific needs.

Custom Chamfer Cutter Reference
Chamfer Angle: Select a fixed angle according to your drawing requirements.
Diameter and Number of Flutes:
- Diameter: Typically 1.5-2 times the chamfer width (e.g., for a 3mm chamfer width, select a tool with a diameter of 4.5-6mm).
- Number of Flutes: For rough machining, choose 2-3 flutes; for finishing, choose 3-4 flutes.
Recommended Cutting Parameters:
- Spindle Speed (S):
- Aluminum Alloy: 2000-4000 rpm
- Steel/Cast Iron: 500-1500 rpm
- Titanium Alloy: 300-800 rpm
- Feed Rate (F): 0.05-0.3 mm/tooth (use smaller values for harder materials).
- Axial Depth of Cut (ap): Single feed ≤1mm (use multiple passes to avoid overloading).
