Long neck tapered end mills are ideal for machining chamfers or tapered holes within cavities and deep slots. Their slender neck can reach 50% to 70% of the tool’s overall length, making them suitable for deep hole machining in applications like mold cooling channels and engine blocks.

Applications: Supports machining of internal tapered holes (blind and through), external tapered surfaces, and tapered grooves.
Taper: Custom tapers are supported.
Cutting Edges (Flutes): Multiple flute configurations are available.
Select the appropriate coating according to the material:
- Steel/Cast Iron: TiAlN coating
- Stainless Steel: TiCN coating (anti-chip adhesion)
- Aluminum: Uncoated / DLC coating / Nano coating
Maintenance: Regularly inspect the tapered surfaces for wear (regrinding or replacement is necessary if taper tolerances are exceeded).
